UMUAHIA— A group, National Association of South-East Nigerian Students, has pledged to support and work for the re-election of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State, saying he has done well and deserves their support.

According to the group, which said it is an umbrella body that governs the affairs and seeks for the welfare of students in the South East zone,  it decided to support Anambra State governor in the 2017 election because “he is the most students’ friendly governor.”

According to a statement issued by the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the association, Dr. Kingsley Dozie, the students also decided to support Willie Obiano’s second term bid “because of his students and youth friendly approach to governance.

“We align ourselves to the youths of Anambra who recently pleaded with the governor to indicate interest for a second term bid in office and promise to purchase nomination forms for his second term in office,” group said.
