The major part of the world watched and glued to CNN news which misled them. CNN  has gone to sleep over Trump’s victory. Obviously, the few people who were following up with Fox news, were optimistic that Donald Trump would win.

For instance, US has not less than 50 states and not less than 12 states are strenuous battlegrounds dominated by conservatives like Florida, Ohio, Texas, etc. Since Hillary Clinton’s party is Obama’s party which is more or less “Lawless” while Donald Trump’s party is lawful, the conservative states would not be bordered with Clinton.

To Nigerians celebrating Trump’s win,.. this brings back memories 16 months or so ago, when President  Buhari won  Nigeria’s presidential election and the euphoria of impending change was all over the place. Now, Nigerians,  especially the long suffering masses,  are still cheering the change that has gripped Nigeria .

People should know Trump’s win is repudiation of America’s establishment by Americans, more than it is endorsement of Mr Trump’s fitness for office. Britain did similar repudiation of establishment via Brexit.

Donald Trump’s victory is an American version of the UK Brexit which were both a loud and unequivocal outcry against millions of economic migrants currently  in western countries to go back to their countries. Donald Trump and Brexit are people’s verdicts rather than flooding foreign countries to seek greener pastures. It is about time we Africans stayed back and develop our own respective countries for our own good and that of our future generations.
