A member, Board of Trustees of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Elder Peter Agbonkonkon – Ogbeide has stated that the emergence of a new a King in Benin Kingdom as well as the election of a new governor in the state was a divine intervention that would usher peace and prosperity to Edo people.

He also called on the people to rally support for the newly crowned Oba of Benin, HRM Omo ‘Oba  Ewuare 11, saying that as the spiritual head of the ancient kingdom, “he has the spiritual, physical capability to turn around the fortunes  of the kingdom.’’

Ogbeide said in Benin yesterday that the Benin Monarch remains an epitome of positive change for the Benin people, saying that he was very optimistic that the reign of the Oba would witness the eradication of poverty and the development of the seven local governments in Edo South Senatorial Districts in particular and the  country in general.
