Lagos State Government, through the State Signage and Advertising Agency, LASAA, has launched the 2017 vehicle clearance stickers for mobile advertising, as part of efforts to improve its services.
Government has therefore,warned that any advertisement placed on vehicles without evidence of necessary payment would henceforth be sanctioned, according to the law guiding the operation.
Speaking at the unveiling of the new stickers at a brief ceremony at the Head Office, Ikeja, Managing Director of LASAA, Mr. Mobolaji Sanusi, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Environment, Engineer Abidemi Adeyemi, explained that the new stickers became necessary to ensure a simpler process in its interaction with its clients.
According to Sanusi, his agency wanted an easier process of enforcement that would not be cumbersome as well as eliminate unnecessary waste of time on the field by its enforcement team.
