The Umu-Ogwezi quarters in Ogbe-Odua, Aboh, in Delta State will be agog today as members of Umuogbeoochi family celebrate their father, grand-father, great and grand-father, Chief Ossai Ugboma, the Omodi of Aboh Kingdom, as he turns 100 years today.

The celebration which started on Friday with a Catholic mass in his honour and entertainment by the Aboh cultural dance troupe, saw dignitaries from all walks of life converging to pray for the centenarian.

Reacting Chief Omodi said: “I am very happy to clock 100 years and I thank God for keeping me alive to celebrate with my family.”
