Postponing the election 100 times will not remove the anger of the people against the outgoing APC administration, former deputy chairman of the PDP, Mr. Clement Edo-Osagie has said.
In a statement in Benin yesterday, Edo-Osagie, said the PDP would not surrender its victory to the APC or Governor Adams Oshiomhole.
“Let it be known that Pastor Ize-Iyamu is unstoppable and is already coasting home to victory with the PDP. The APC was aware that they had been rejected by the people of Edo State, and no amount of postponement will save them from misfortune and calamity.
“The APC under Governor Oshiomhole has lost its values and acceptability in Edo State. This would have been demonstrated on September 10 if the election held. The APC leaders conspired with security agencies to fathom insecurity in Edo state which has never been known to violence.
“I wish to appeal to the voting masses of Edo State that their agony will soon end with your total resolve to vote out political dictators that held them in bondages and captivity for eight years.
He stated that the security agencies cannot claim ignorance of the programmes and processes for the election as drawn up by INEC as to when the election would be held before they came up with their security advice.
