Bauchi—THE Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, has dismissed allegation of selective anti-graft crusade by President Muhammadu Buhari, describing the allegation as untrue.

Speaking with journalists in Bauchi, he said the anti-graft crusade of President Buhari-led administration was not established to witch-hunt anyone, but to ensure that any public officer guilty of looting the national treasury was brought to book.
Doguwa, who represents Doguwa/Tudun Wada Federal Constituency in Kano State, said Nigerians were proud of government’s war against corruption, noting that it would launch the country into its next level.
According to him: “Just within a period of one year, the administration of President Buhari has recorded a huge success in its anti-graft war and this has enabled the country to secure the very little resources it has for the betterment of the generality of its citizens.
”This Government as it is being operated does not revere anybody, if you are involved in any case of fraud or corrupt practice, the law will come after you, but if you are not found guilty, the law will also explain why you are not involved. I want to believe that there is nothing like selection.
“I am not oblivious of the fact that the opposition may say one thing or the other and you cannot stop them because that is the only work available to them.”
