ASABA—DIRECTOR General of Delta State Director Labour Agency, DLA, Mr Franc Enekorogha, has said that the Agency rehabilitated 72 township/link roads across the state in the last eight months.

Enekorogha who briefed newsmen in Asaba, said some of the roads had been rehabilitated while work was still ongoing on some others.

Enekorogha who noted that the affected roads cut across both state and federal roads, said: “There is no differentiation as to separate users of the federal and state roads.”

Reiterating that work was on-going on several roads despite the inclement weather, he said, “When the weather gets better, most of the roads damaged by rains will be repaired.”

Decrying that the present economic situation in the country has affected the agency’s level of work, he said, “The agency will do everything at its disposal to give Deltans what they desire.”
