“We are very glad and encouraged by the endorsement by the Olu of Warri. To this end we are working towards delivering a peaceful and enjoyable marathon race,” said Joyce Bozimo CEO of Tamitare Gym.
She disclosed that there was also an enthusiastic response from the people of Warri and the youths who are eagerly waiting to participate in the event, which has winning prizes on offer.
Also speaking renowned athletics coach and sports administrator, Seigha Porbeni submitted that everything was in order concerning the race, which will start at Jakpa Junction near the Warri Refinery and terminate at the Warri Township Stadium.
