THE Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, yesterday issued a license to Parkway Projects Limited to operate as a Payment Solution Service Provider, PSSP, in Nigeria. Parkway, a financial technology provider of home grown e-banking and e-payment solutions is said to have satisfied the requirements as prescribed by the CBN. In a statement, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Parkway, Mr. Uzo Eziukwu, reacting to the company’s new status said; “This development has made the company further poised to extend its financial payment solution across all spectrum of Nigeria’s financial ecosystem. ‘’We are well positioned to make a huge success as customers can be assured of our commitment to quality, robust and secure solution delivery. ‘’We understand that with this licence, the CBN has further charged us with the responsibility of ensuring payment solutions that strengthen the Nigerian payment system.”
