Athletics Federation of Nigeria has released the list of athletes for the IAAF World Indoors billed for March 17-20 in Portland Oregon, USA.

The list of 12 include Ogho-Oghene Egwero,Tosin Oke and inform shot putter Stephen Mozia. Others are Eriyokan Orukpe, Patience Okon, Regina George and Tameka Jameson.

Egwero, who is yet to make a mark on the boards stated that he was hopeful of posting a podium appearance in the 60m dash where Olusoji Fasuba reigned supreme, winning the gold in the 2006 edition.

“Sure my aim is to do well and get a good performance. I have worked for the championships and I am looking forward to it.”
