The Deputy Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Friday Osanebi, has said genuine representation means the transformation of the people, adding that Governor Ifeanyi Okowa should be commended for his commitment to the transformation of Ndokwaland.

He spoke during a tour of projects he attracted to Ndokwa East Local Government Area, Mon-day. Among them were blocks of six classrooms each across schools in the council, with toilet and other installations in each class.

He said: “We may give scholarships and pay bursaries, but when the learning environment is not conducive, students might still perform poorly, despite investments in human capital development.”

Some of the project sites visited include Umuobi Primary School, Ossisa; Iselegu Primary School, Iselegu and Ibrede Primary School, Ibrede.

In his entourage were Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, Mr. Chika Ossai; Commissioner representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality on the Board of DESOPADEC, Mr. Nnamdi Ezechi; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Monitoring, Mr. Alex Aniche, among others.
