Benue State Government has justified its cancellation of the last minute decisions of former governor Gabriel Suswam. This is contained in a statement signed by Mr Tahav Agerzua, the Special Adviser on Media and Information Communication Technology (ICT), in Makurdi on Tuesday. It stated that the clarification became necessary because government had a responsibility to explain its actions to the people where the need arose.

50-year-old woman arraigned over alleged theft of laptop, TV

A 50-year-old woman, Bukola Awolu, has appeared before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for allegedly breaking into an apartment and stealing valuables including a laptop valued at N168, 000. Awolu, a trader, who resides in Oyo State, is facing a two-count charge of stealing and break-in.
