National Coordinator of the Oodua People’s Congress, OPC, Otunba Gani Adams, Barrister Yinka Oguntimehin , has condemned the gruesome killing of 10 operatives of the Department of State Security by pipeline vandals in the Arepo area of Ogun State.

Vandals kill 9 DSS operatives in Arepo
Nine operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS, were on Tuesday night shot dead by vandals at Konu, a border between Arepo in Ogun State and Ikorodu, Lagos State, even as scores of persons have been declared missing as a result of the attack on the area.

Ooni: Court stops Giesi from presenting candidates
Following the formal announcement by the kingmakers in Ile-Ife requesting nomination of candidates from the Giesi Ruling House for the selection of the new Ooni of Ife, an Osogbo high court yesterday granted the Lafogido Ruling House of Ile-Ife an injunction restraining the Ife king makers and Osun state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesolsa from allowing the Giesi ruling house from presenting candidates for the vacant stool.
