8,046 displaced in South-West in two months —NEMA

THE National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has disclosed that it has recorded 8,046 disaster victims chiefly from fire and windstorm in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states in the first two months of 2015. The victims, it said, were affected in seven major incidents with Lagos State having 1,064 persons.
