Johnson Nwaohalama Ekwe as the new Bishop of Niger West. Ven. Ekwe is said to be respected because of his track record of working in a place where others dreaded probably because of his profession as a former soldier before his elevation as bishop.

AWKA- ANAMBRA State government has stepped up efforts aimed at turning the state into the nation’s agricultural base with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with a private investor, Lynden Integrated Farms Ltd, for the establishment of commercial poultry farm in the state. The investment is to gulp about N13 billion.

Breaking his silence since he was dropped for the first time, he told Vanguard that he has not been told why he was relieved of his appointment just as he gave pass marks to Oshiomhole for fulfilling most of his electioneering promises to Edo people.
