Armed group kidnap 46 , assassinates 16 civilians
Congolese official and civil society groups said on Wednesday in Beni (Democratic Republic of the Congo) that sixteen civilians had been assassinated by an armed group in eastern Congo. They said that the discovery of the bodies on Tuesday and Wednesday morning in Buleusa was after the disappearance of 46 people in the village since Saturday.

Some states are still defaulting in their financial obligations to their workers in spite of the bailout funds by the Federal Government to assist them to pay outstanding salaries and allowances. Recall that the Federal Government released N338 billion to 27 states as bailout funds to pay their workers backlog of salaries and allowances.
