OLEH—THE commissioer representing Ndokwa ethnic nationality on the board of Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPODEC, Mr. Fidelis Oputa, has charged oil bearing communities in the state to guard against vandalization of projects executed by the commission in their domains.
Speaking at Kwale, headquarters of Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State, shortly after a thanksgiving ceremony on his appointment to DESOPADEC’s board, Oputa said the commission was committed to its pursuit of people-oriented projects.
Reiterating the determination of DESOPADEC to key into the SMART agenda of the state governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, which he said hinged on prosperity for all Deltans, he assured that the communities would get their fair share of projects from the commission.
