Zuglool praises Buhari on moves to exterminate Boko Haram

THe atmosphere of chuminess, assisted by clement weather  pervaded the Isolo area of Lagos State as the foremost Arabic School in the area held its 42nd graduation ceremony recently. The event which hampered both human and vehicular movement in the serene area as dignitaries and eminent Muslim personalities thronged the area was held last Sunday.

96 graduated in various levels of Arabic and Islamic education.  Parents who spoke to Vanguard expressed satisfaction in the standard of Arabic and Islamic training imparted to the students. The occasion was also used to launch the ultra modern electronic library of the school.

Speaking at the occasion, the Proprietor, Sheikh Mustapha Zuglool congratulated to the students and parents for their resilience and steadfastness during their period of learning.

Commenting on global issues, the Islamic Scholar noted that a number of unpleasant situations, restiveness, crises, bombings and killings were worrisome and should be the concern of every human being.

“Since inception of this graduation ceremony, I have made it a point of duty to use the occasion to give my perspective of situation around the world.  Recently, the situation in Nigeria, Iraq, Syria, Sudan and other places where bombings and killing remain the order of the day is worrisome.  It is affecting the entire Muslim.”

He praised the fighting spirit of the Army under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari just as he listed a number of measures that if put in place would help to stop insurgency.

He urged private individuals to invest in the country inorder to create employment for the teeming youth; advising government to make education up to secondary school level free and compulsory for all.

Sheikh Zugloo further advised government to improve on the social and infrastructure development as well as put structures in place to assist the poor and the less privileged.

He also unveiled the school’s ultra modern electronic library project, adding that it would benefit not only the students of the school but Islamic researchers all over the world.

The Mudeer urged the graduands to always be good ambassadors of the school, noting that love, humility and steadfastness and other good values they have learned in the school will help them.

Meanwhile, parents of graduating students friends and well wishers were seen with loads of sumptuous meals and gift items just as drinks flew freely in celebration of worthy achievements.
