The Enterprise Technology Specialist of Intel, Shada, Oluwatobi, has said that the Chip maker maker created the new Intel Core M processor in order to fill a gap in the market place. Oluwatobi who spoke to Vanguard in an interview recently in Lagos disclosed that before the introduction of the Intel Core M processor, there was no solution that delivered high performance within a thin, fanless design.

In the final year of President Goodluck Jonathan’s government, hardly was anyone not fed up with his lackluster performance. Among such groups, media organs stand out as they aggressively agitated for change through editorials and reports and helped to effectively publicize the views of other people demanding change. Therefore, the media itself must not only change, it must lead the change process. It must do so by changing its own ways which in the past encouraged the poor performance of government. The media must change from serving personal and sectional interests to serving the over-all public good

On Wednesday, May 27, the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) and stakeholders in the transport sector agreed to commence subtle enforcement(without booking) of the use of speed limiters in commercial vehicles from June 1, while, from September 1, full enforcement will commence. This decision is a shift from the initial enforcement date of June I. The FRSC Corps Marshal, Mr Boboye Oyeyemi, had described as “unacceptable avoidable crashes that are speed related, stressing that studies showed that speed related factors alone accounted for about 50.8 percent of crashes that occurred in Nigeria last year”. As has been proven, speed limiting devices automatically control the speed of a moving vehicle to the programmed speed limits against the tendency of the drivers to drive above the stipulated speed limit.
