UGHELLI—Delta State chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has embarked on a reconciliation drive aimed at appeasing aggrieved members of the party.

Speaking to newsmen, Thursday, in Ughelli, a chieftain of the party and former Kwara State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Solomon Edojah, hinted that party leaders from the three senatorial districts in the state, had resolved to work together for the unity of the party.

Edojah explained that the party had also opened its doors to defecting members of PDP, Labour Party and other political parties, who are interested in joining the APC.

He said: “At the expanded caucus meeting of the APC which was convened by a member of the Board of Trustees, Senator Spanner Okpozo, alongside leaders and elders of the party in the state, we agreed to work together as one united family and be prepared to reclaim the stolen mandate of the party in the state.”
