There was generally, free movement of persons in the region before the colonialists, mainly French and British, imposed artificial boundaries even amongst the same ethnic group and introduced custom duties which have since then restricted movement and prevented integration.

Every one shall be change agent
The need for a change in our society, cannot be overemphasized. That is why the feeling and expectations of Nigerians are high today as President Muhammad Buhari takes over the baton of leadership. Ambode ‘ll keep his words on making hajj programme more robust —- Paramole, Board Chairman
Let me start answering this question by going back to the tenure of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Regime, he really affected the performance and involvement of many people in Hajj positively. During his tenure he sponsored nothing less than 750 people from the state to perform the holy pilgrimage. When the outgoing Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola came in, he saw that as some sort of jamboree which he didn’t want to be part of, so from 750 people he reduced it to 300 people less than 50 percent of what the Tinubu regime used to sponsor.
Olam promises to bridge local rice production
Olam management has re-instated its commitments to helping Nigeria advance its journey to self sufficiency in rice production by bridging the gap in local production and importation. Some reality of 2015 change
TODAY, power changes hands from President Goodluck Ebelle Jonathan, GEJ, of the PDP , to President Muhammadu Buhari ,MB, of the APC ,as he takes charge of the affairs in our blessed nation, Nigeria. APC becomes the ruling party, while PDP, if it survives the pains, and traumas of defeat, becomes the opposition. However, should the PDP fail to become the opposition, as they appear headed to, by their internal wrangling, we will end up with an octopus APC as the ruling party, carrying with it, all the dangers that entrapped and pulled down the PDP, implying that we will be back to where we started. I pray this will not happen.
