The African champions Friday booked their place at the All Africa Games in Congo with an 8-0 trouncing of Mali, and Oparanozie, who scored a brace in that big win, says the next target is qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.

“The next target for us now is to qualify for the Olympic Games which is what we are looking forward to.

“We have put the win over Mali behind us now and we are concentrating on the Olympic Games qualifiers because we all want to participate at the Olympic Games.

“We want to represent our country in Brazil and hopefully we will get the ticket to the Games when the time comes,” she stated.

The Guingamp of France striker also stated that having a good outing at the Women’s World Cup is also paramount in their minds.

“We also want to do well at the World Cup in Canada. We want to get to the quarter final or maybe even the semifinal, but we know it won’t be easy so we must work hard to achieve this success.”
