Oshiomhole urges police to probe death of hotel staff
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has called on the state Commissioner of Police to thoroughly investigate the circumstances that led to the death of Mr. Chibuike Edeh, staff of a 5-star hotel in the state, who was accused of theft and kept in their custody. Meanwhile, the Police in Benin have absolved themselves of blame in the death of the deceased, as the state Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Joseph Edoigiawerie, described the allegation as false and a calculated attempt to cast aspersion on the image and the professional manner the Police handled the issue.
