UGHELLI—A Niger Delta-based advocacy group, Niger Delta Volunteers for Buhari, NDVB, has urged Nigerians, especially those in the Niger Delta region of the country, to vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, whom it described as a symbol of positive change for the country.

ABUJA—The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, yesterday opposed the proposed amendments of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, Act, alleging that the Act was a deliberate plan to strip the apex bank of some of its regulatory functions.
