BENIN—A chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo State, Mr. Nathaniel Awala, has given kudos to the state governor, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, for the quality projects embarked on by his administration, which had put smiles on the faces of Edo people.
Awala, who met the governor during one of his inspection tours of ongoing projects in the state capital, said: “This is not about PDP or All Progressives Congress, APC. I am a PDP man and I am congratulating you today because you have put smiles on the faces of the people of Edo State. Many of the owners of submerged houses are coming back.”
Speaking after his chat with the governor during his inspection of the 6-lane Upper Siluko Road in Benin City, Awala said: “You will enjoy the good you are doing now. You are not doing this good for yourself, but for the children yet unborn. It is not the money, because you cannot keep money for them but you can keep a good environment for them and that is what you are doing.”
