A Delta State governorship aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Godwin Elumelu, has said he will ensure that Delta Steel Company, DSC, Aladja, is revived to create jobs, if elected governor in 2015.

Elumelu gave the assurance during his public declaration to run for governorship in Asaba.

The event saw former National Chairman of PDP, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor; President of the Market Women and Men Association of Nigeria, Delta State Chapter; a member of PDP Board of Trustees, Alhaja Abdukadree; Senator Francis Nwajei and other top politicians from across Delta State and beyond in attendance.

Flanked by his wife and Elegbete Moses Odibo, Director-General of Elumelu Campaign Organisation, Elumelu said all 42 communi-ties in Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, which he represents in the House of Representatives, have benefited from project he executed.

He assured supporters that the state would witness uncommon transformation under his administration as he would build on the Delta Beyond Oil initiative of the incumbent governor.
