LADOL, Samsung to establish N51bn vessel fabrication facility

The Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics, LADOL and Samsung Heavy Industries SHI, have formed a partnership to establish a N51 billion vessel fabricating facility. The facility with quay length of approximately 520 meters, depth of 13.5 meters and heavy lifting area of 5,000 metric tons is designed to become Africa’s largest vessel fabrication and integration facility and will create 50,000 new jobs in Nigeria.
