LAGOS—The Lagos State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Mr. Ademurin Kuye has lashed out at the opposition parties for criticising its creation of additional 37 Local Council Development Areas, LCDAs to the exiting 20 Local Government Areas in the state, in 2003.
The commissioner who was speaking yesterday at the official presentation of over 16,000 free school uniforms, bags and exercise books to pupils of the 23 public primary schools in the Ifelodun Local Council Development Area, by the council boss, Hon. Fatai Ajidagba, said the grassroots transformation recorded in the Ifelodun LCDA within three years has proved critics wrong.
Reeling his account of stewardship especially on the area of education, Ajidagba noted that education and youth development remains the bedrock of any society that seeks to develop.
