Abuja – The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), has predicted cloudy weather conditions with chances of localised thunderstorms over Ilorin and Bida in the morning.

It also predicted prospects of localised thunderstorms in the central states over the high ground in the afternoon and evening.

This is contained in a Weather Outlook issued by NiMet’s Central Forecast Office (CFO) in Abuja on Saturday.

“The southern coastal areas will experience cloudy conditions with chances of localised rains over the South-West coast in the morning.

“Chances of localised thunderstorms are expected over the South-East coast in the afternoon and evening.

“Cloudy conditions are expected in the inland areas with chances of localised thunderstorms over the western part in the morning and the South-East in the afternoon and evening, ” NiMet stated.

According to the forecast, the northern states will experience partly cloudy conditions over the entire region.
