(AFP) – Three rockets fired by Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip struck near the southern Israeli city of Beersheva Tuesday, hours before a ceasefire was due to expire, the military said.

“Three (rockets) fell on open ground in the Beersheva area,” a spokeswoman told AFP. There were no reports of casualties.
