NIPSS alumni task new IGP on pledge to protect the weak, vulnerable

ABUJA — The Alumni Association of the National Institute, AANI, has tasked the Acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Suleiman Abba, to remain focussed and keep to his promise to protect the weak and the vulnerable in the society.

Secretary General of AANI, Comrade Tunde Aremu, who gave the charge while speaking with newsmen on the recent appointments of some NIPSS alumni said Nigeria deserved more effective policing.
Besides, he commended President Goodluck Jonathan over the appointments of its members, including Mr. Baboye Oyeyemi, as the Corps Marshal and the Chief Executive of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC; the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS, Mr. David Parradang, and most recently the  acting IGP, Suleiman Abba.
