It was an emotion-laden night for Tiwa Savage at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards, which held at Durban, South Africa. After clinching the Best Africa Female Act award, the MAVIN First Lady was all syruppy and couldn’t keep her words together as she thanked her crew and most especially her husband and manager, TeeBillz.

The Eminado singer dedicated her award to her husband, thanking him for all the hardwork in her career so far. She said, “I just want to thank God, fans, 323 Entertainment, my label, Mavin, my producer and boss, Don Jazzy and finally, I want to say thank you to the most handsome and amazing husband in the whole wide world, TeeBillz, who has put so much to make our story a success thank you and I love you very much”.

Her husband has mostly stood by her through the thick and thin especially when critics took on her for being rather obscene on stage. TeeBillz came to her defence, saying he endorses all that Tiwa does on stage, clad or unclad.
