ABAKALIKI — GOV-ERNOR Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State has said that his successor must be someone who has political tolerance for those in opposition.

Mr. Ayo Fayose’s campaign for the governorship election got a boost yesterday after a one time loyalist of the All Progressives Congress, APC, former Senator Bode Ola switched parties to support Fayose.

LAGOS — No fewer than
14 people were injured, yesterday, on the Third Mainland bridge during a lone accident involving a commuter bus.
According to eye witnesses, the incident occured around 8:30 am at UNILAG Waterfront when the fully loaded bus with number plate APP 523 XC which was on high speed tumbled and the tyres pulled off.
The victims were said to have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. An eye witness who simply gave his name as Bamitale Orelope said the bus was heading towards Iyana-Oworo from Lagos Island when the incident occurred.
