LAGOS — No fewer than 14 people were injured, yesterday, on the Third Mainland bridge during a lone accident involving a commuter bus.

According to eye witnesses, the incident occurred around 8:30 am at UNILAG Waterfront when the fully loaded bus with number plate APP 523 XC which was on high speed tumbled and the tyres pulled off.

The victims were said to have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. An eye witness who simply gave his name as Bamitale

Orelope said the bus was heading towards Iyana-Oworo from Lagos Island when the incident occurred.
