OWERRI — The management of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, has burst a syndicate perpetrating admission racketeering.
Already, a staff of the institution, whose name could not be ascertained at press time, had been arrested and handed over to the police.
Vanguard investigation revealed that the staff, whose employment was yet to be confirmed by the institution, was in the habit of charging every prospective student fees between N40,000 and N50,000.
