Oghara chieftaincy dispute: Claimant wants Appeal Court to unseat monarch

THE presentation of staff of office to Chief Noble Estemitan by the Delta State Government and his subsequent crowning as Orefe III, Ovie of Oghara, which was a subject of litigation at the state High Court, has moved to the appellate court, as one of the claimants to the throne, Chief Macaulay Akpurhi, has asked the Court of Appeal sitting in Benin, Edo State, to set aside the action of the state government in defiance of court proceedings and in contempt of court.
