Buoyed by their generous win over Union Douala in the CAF Confederation Cup, Warri Wolves are targeting a generous win over visiting  Tunisian club CA Bizertin in the first leg second round tie on Sunday at the Warri Township Stadium..

According to Wolves’ coach Paul Aigbogun stated that his wards need to up their game and get a good result before setting out for the unknown world of the return leg in Tunis.

“We have to double our efforts to see that we get a favourable result and this is the first leg so we need to score goals,” said coach  Aigbogun.

“The available information at our disposal confirmed that they are good and are currently doing well in their league but we are going to do our best.”

Warri Wolves forward Joshua Obaje added that they are looking forward to a resounding victory. “We are taking this game very seriously because we know the importance of the game to our ambition,” he said.

“We will go all out for a convincing win since this is the first leg and we are playing home, a good win here will put us in a comfortable position for the return leg.”

Warri Wolves beat Union Douala (Cameroon) 4-3 on aggregate to reach this stage, while CA Bizertin beat Desportivo Huila (Angola) 3-0 on aggregate after winning both home and away.

The Nigerian club will be without star forward Etebo Oghenekaro, who is away at Italian Serie A club Udinese for trials.

However, the cheering news is that skipper Azubuike Egwuekwe has rejoined the team after he missed the first leg match against Union Douala in Cameroon due to international duty for Nigeria.
