The Abuja Motor Fair, organised by BKG Exhibition Limited, has always been an avenue for the automobile industry to shine and for different auto companies to display their various brands. Weststar Associates Ltd, the authorised sole distributors of Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram in Nigeria has always made its presence positively felt. In the past, their classy array of a variety of passenger and commercial vehicle models such as the A-Class, B-Class, C-Class, E-Class, G-Class, GL, GLK, Sprinter, Actros, Zetros, including the Chrysler family of Ram, Grand Cherokee, Durango, Dodge Caliber and Wrangler have perpetually dazzled the audience with their outstanding features and attractive prices.
This year 2013, which marks the 15th edition of the show, will be no different. Weststar will not only be participating in the renowned event, but promises to once again amaze visitors with their eye-catching newest products and offers.
Mercedes-Benz, known for its luxurious style and class, is the oldest, best known and established automotive brand in the world. Take for instance, the dynamic, agile and athletic new A-Class. It stands out with its curvy exterior and exudes technological comfort and pleasure. The all new E-Class is stylish, and combines Active and Passive sophisticated systems technology, taking protection to a whole new level.
Weststar plans to mark-out special days to showcase the Mercedes-Benz SUVs, the new A-Class, and a special unveiling of the extraordinary and attractive new S-Class. This remarkable new model of the Mercedes-Benz brand is perfection down to the last detail, and wonder to behold and experience, thereby earning it “The Essence of Luxury”. This pursuit of the best or nothing is particularly noticeable in the interior: whether it is the seats or the air conditioning, the controls or the design, the infotainment or the comfort and safety in the rear – new ideas, their painstaking realisation, and highest perceived quality underpin the high standards that the engineers have set for the Mercedes-Benz flagship model.
Weststar will also have the Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram products on display. The all new Ram1500 Laramie will be on display and a mini-launch of the new 2014 SRT 8 is set to thrill visitors. They are built with the utmost quality and are highly beneficial in their ability to cater to the driver/owner’s needs.
Manufactured on over 70 years of renowned legacy, Jeep is the genuine SUV brand with leading class craftsmanship, potential and adaptability for people seeking extraordinary voyage. The Jeep Grand Cherokee certainly delivers an unprecedented combination of best-in-class fuel economy and driving range, legendary benchmark capability, world-class craftsmanship, and a host of advanced user-friendly technology and safety features. Inexplicable and fun buttons are seldom spelt out clearly as in the Jeep SRT8. The “Launch Mode”
brings the engine, suspension, transmission and driveline together for swift launches by revving the engine at a standstill and launching the 5,000-pound SUV like a rocket. Jeep’s launch control is standard on SRT8s for reliable, superior fast starts of the high-performance SUV. A refined exterior design – complete with signature LED running lamps – provides a premium appearance. Premium interior amenities include Natura-leather, exotic open-pore wood and new colour offerings.
The 2013 Ram 1500 is a pick-up which raises the bar with remarkable pioneering, fuel-saving systems and first-in-segment technologies. The 1500 Laramie Quad Cab 4×4 exudes with a sharp two-tone exterior treatment, displaying 20-inch chrome-clad aluminium wheels with plenty of exterior chrome to match, and an interior typically associated with class. It runs at 305 HP with its powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine, has a 6-Speed Automatic Transmission, and delivers impressive fuel economy. The SLT Quad Cab 4×4, on the other hand, possesses a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powerful engine and offers an 8 Speed Automatic Transmission.
