OSOGBO— Osun State Government, last night, imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on Oba-Oke and Oba-Ile communities in Olorunda Local Government Area of the state, following the clash between indigenes of the neighbouring communities, Sunday.

Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti, made the announcement in a special broadcast. The curfew, according to the announcement, is from 6p.m. to 6a.m. daily.

The two communities had, on Sunday, engaged themselves in a bloody clash over an age-long land dispute.

At least two persons were injured, while the palace of the Oloba of Oba-Oke, Oba Dahunsi Iyiola, was razed by the youths of Oba-Ile.

The fight started when the people of Oba-Ile moved to the neighbouring Oba-Oke at the end of their annual Oro festival.
