BENIN — Benin National Congress, BNC,  a socio-cultural organisation in Edo State, has vowed to resist what it described as attempt to impose “an alien on oil producing communities” as the next Edo State representative on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

The group, in a statement by its President, Mr. Aiyamenkhue Edokpolo, said that the people of oil producing communities would not continue to suffer degradation, particularly when Edo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, EDSOPADEC, had failed to uplift their lives.
