ATHENS (AFP) – Nigerian attacking midfielder Abdul Jeleel Ajagun Wednesday signed a four-year contract for an undisclosed fee with Panathinaikos, the Greek Super League team announced.
Ajagun, 20, captained the Nigeria team which finished third in this year’s African Under-20 Championship.
At club level, Ajagun has played for Nigeria’s Dolphins FC from 2008 to 2013, making 92 appearances and scoring 39 goals.
