It was pandemonium in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, as police in the area led by the Divisional Police Officer, Mr. Kenneth Akubue, battled for over five hours Friday to quell a crisis by over 500 women and youths of Ajekimoni community, led by their Vice Chairman, Mr Francis Ikoyo, in which their community chairman, Mr. Sam Kekakpor, would have been lynched.
