The UN Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) says Nigeria’s effort to improve linkage between its oil and gas industry with other sectors of the economy achieved only a modest success. It said the modest success was due to limited production capacity of state owned-oil company and monitoring functions.

Owners of the site acquired by Midwestern Oil and Gas Company Plc, at Umusadege-Ogbe community of Otagba-Ogbe, Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State, have offered N7 million to seven families in the community in appreciation of their support and cooperation since the acquisition of the land by the company.
