DESPITE the difficulties bedeviling the economy, the Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Limited, Mr. C. K. Thampy says his company has remained resolute with the hope that better days are ahead.

Mr. Thampy who was speaking at the last Toyota Awards recently, said “there is no gainsaying the fact that the economic landscape has been bedeviled by a lot of challenges in the last few years as clearly manifested in the instability and unfriendly nature of most macro-economic indices. This notwithstanding, we have remained resolute in our belief in the system and our expectation of better times ahead.

He however noted that they have not allow the situation to deter them from creating avenues like the Toyota Awards to appreciate their partners in business for their unwavering support to the company.

The Managing Director who showered praises on the customers and dealer for keeping faith with Toyota through thick and thin said that the award has become an event with wide appeal and a sort of deja vu to many who look forward to it with great anticipation on annual basis.
