The Oshiomhole Campaign Organisation has stated that the only reason why the PDP has embarked on propaganda campaign is because of the high acceptance rating of the Comrade Governor, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole.

The Director of Media and Publicity, Prince Kassim Afegbua who stated this in a telephone interview with Saturday Vanguard observed that the descent to sponsored advertorials about the imaginary 10.8billion naira house of the Comrade Governor was just a deliberate distraction that won’t take PDP anywhere.

“Let me tell you categorically that the PDP is operating from a disadvantaged position and has simply ran out of ideas. Otherwise, by now, one expects them to base their campaigns on issues, telling Edo people what they intend to do and not this issue about who builds a house or not. Rather than commend the Governor for remembering to beautify and expand his house in his little village of Iyamho when his colleagues in the PDP are building and buying houses in Snake Island, London, South Africa, and other choice locations, PDP is busy chasing shadows, showing a carcass of a house as a 10billion naira worth”.

Continuing, Afegbua declared; “ I am ashamed of our PDP compatriots, such whimsical gathering with overzealous chieftains struggling to grab whatever they see. Rather than praise the Governor for his prudence and accountability which has led the State to witness such monumental development, they are busy propagating falsehood all over town, meanwhile, they live in architectural derring-do kind of houses in choice locations across the world.

We will not descend to the level of pedestrian argument over such a laughable subject matter. Lands in the little village of Iyamho is free in case the PDP chieftains want to build or explore the Iyamho environment. For choosing to remember his village when people like Charles Airhiavbere and Dan Orbih are being rejected back home, the Comrade Governor deserves commendation.

All those making all the hellish noise about a so-called 10.8billion naira house have choice houses in choice locations across the world. I feel very strongly that Dan Orbih should come back home and try to explore his environment by building a house instead of lazily occupying his father,s house at the expense of his other siblings”, Afegbua added.

According to the Director of Media of the Oshiomhole Campaign, the reason why the PDP is jittery is because they have nothing to offer the State and that while the Governor is enjoying wonderful time by virtue of his numerous works in the State, PDP is coming from a zero point of view; no scorecard, no developmental antecedents, no blueprint, no template and nothing to showcase to the people. Hear him; “we are used to this systemic campaign of calumny of the PDP because it is bereft of any serious idea on how to move the State forward.

Instead of thinking of how to generate positive ideas, they are busy jumping like frogs all over the place thereby making themselves laughable in the eyes of the public. We challenge them to a public debate on any location, venue or place to discuss blueprints for the State. Tell them to wake up. As for this July elections, they cannot spring any surprise”.

Speaking further, Afegbua advised the PDP to joon hands with Oshiomhole in moving the State forward; “ I wish they could join hands with the Comrade Governor to move the State forward. Please tell them that those who live in glass houses, don’t throw stones.

Tell your correspondent in Benin to send you pictures of the homes of General Charles, Mr. Dan Orbih and their oracle master, Chief Anenih, you will be shock at the misplaced affluence of these persons. We will meet at the epicentre of electioneering campaigns and we will humble them with numerous achievements that are spread all over the State”.
