Victor Moses is excited to be home and looking forward to the game on Wednesday when he may win his first cap for Nigeria.
The Wigan Athletic player has impressed so well in English football that his name came up a few times for possible call to the England national team. He had had instincts with junior teams.
Asked if it was difficult to decide to play for Nigeria he said “I wouldn’t know that but I’m happy to be here to play for Nigeria. I was born here and I’m happy to be home.”
On the match he said that he would do his best if selected but noted that “the important thing is for us to win the game.” His ascent was purely English
Yakubu Aiyegbeni also said that he was happy to be back to the national team and “I’m here to serve Nigeria and I’ll do my best if given the chance to play.” He was left out of the team for missing a goal line chance in the 2010 World Cup.
