Omokaro targets elite league for Insurance

Newly appointed coach of Insurance Football Club of Benin, Bright Omokaro has set his eyes on gaining promotion to the Nigerian Premier League at the end of next season.

He disclosed this to inside Out Premier League after being unveiled as the substantive coach of the Benin based side and said he wants to give back to the club that made him who he is today.

The former Super Eagles star also said that he plans to redeem the club’s image by making them play beautiful football with results.

“First, I want to thank those that took the decision to appoint me as the new coach of the team. I am very happy that this is coming at this time in my life after years of service to the club that made me who I am today.

My target is to get the team into the Premier League at the end of next season because that is where the club belongs. There is no way you can mention football clubs in the country and not mention Insurance of Benin, so I want to redeem its image by restoring quality football along side results,” Omokaro said.
