BENIN CITY— Leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria, can, in ward 9, Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State has petitioned the Director of State Security Services, SSS, accusing the Enogie of Opoji, His Royal Highness Zaiki Ehidiamen 1, of alleged intimidation and harassment of members of the party in the area.

The petition dated November 8, 2011, which was copied to Governor Adams Oshiomhole and state Police Commissioner, Mr David Omojola and the AIG Zone 5, Benin, alleged that ACN members in the area were being intimidated into joining the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, by the Enogie.

The petition signed by their Solicitor A.O.Idahosa on behalf of Prince Andrew Ailonobhi, chairman of ACN in ward 9, alleged that the Enogie “threatened to strip any of his chiefs who are ACN members of their titles.”
