Delta House probes contracts awarded since 2007

Asaba—THE Administrative Panel of Inquiry set up by Delta State House of Assembly on Wednesday has called for details of contracts awarded from 2007 till date in the state, to facilitate its assignment.

Chairman of the panel, Prince Johnson Erijo, also Deputy Majority Leader of the House, in a statement, yesterday, in Asaba, said: “Following the setting up of Administrative Panel of Inquiry for failed contracts in the state by the House during its plenary on Wednesday, all government ministries/departments/parastatals and their agencies are requested to submit 10 copies of list containing details of contracts awarded from June 2007 till date by the state government and details of the amount of such contracts, ranging from N100 million naira and above.

“The list of such contracts should reach the Secretary of Panel, on or before November 14.”
